FEDERAL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
The Brazilian Hospital Services Company (Ebserh), linked to the Ministry of Education (MEC), allocated more than R$ 470 thousand to a series of improvements in the teaching spaces of the Hospital das Clínicas, of the Federal University of Pernambuco. Resources are being invested in classrooms, study and meeting rooms, auditoriums and amphitheaters, and rest spaces for the academic community that uses the hospital as a field of practice for training and professional specialization in the health area. The investments are from the National Program for the Restructuring of Federal University Hospitals (Rehuf), managed by Ebserh, in addition to resources from the hospital unit itself.
One of these spaces became available at the end of May. It is a classroom with a capacity for approximately 45 people, which received more than R$15,000 in investments.
And this week, the new Educational Complex was released, re-qualified and modernized, with highlights for the improvements in Amphitheaters 2, 3 and 4 (each with capacity for about 80 people), bathrooms, pedagogical support room, classroom. study, administrative support room and social room. In this space, more than R$ 457 thousand were invested.
Among the improvements, the restoration of the entire floor, painting of the walls, ceilings and ceilings, replacement of the entire electrical installation with system automation, replacement of the entire air conditioning system, adaptation of bathrooms with PNE cabin (People with Special Needs) , requalification of external access (through the parking lot), replacement of lighting fixtures, renovation of the multimedia educational system (projectors, sound system, screens and boards) and new portfolios.
Modernized, these places join the standard of Amphitheater 1, renovated a year and eight months ago and which has now received new air conditioning and multimedia system equipment. The place has a capacity for about 120 people. The entire structure of the Educational Complex is used for classes and events.
