"I faltered" and "Spider-Man": Who is the judge who used a meme in her ruling?
The declaration embargoes were filed by the company in the 1st Federal Court of Volta Redonda, in a writ of mandamus, on the grounds that the decision handed down presented "defects".
The parties stated that STF Theme 843 - which deals with the exclusion of ICMS benefits from the PIS and Cofins basis - should not have been applied to the case, due to the legislative change by law 14,789/23 .
The appeal also stated that the process discusses the calculation basis for IRPJ and CSLL, and not PIS and Cofins.
The judge ruled in favor of the appellants. After confirming, in a good-humoured manner, that she had "hesitated", the judge accepted the appeals, reconsidered the termination of the suspension of the case and determined the conclusion for the sentence.
