Lobbyist Andreson de Oliveira Gonçalves was preventively arrested on Tuesday, the 26th, by the Federal Police, under suspicion of leading a scheme to sell court decisions involving advisors to STJ ministers and members of other courts. The arrest was authorized by Minister Cristiano Zanin, of the STF, who also ordered the execution of 23 search and seizure warrants in Mato Grosso, Pernambuco and the Federal District.
Gonçalves is considered a central figure in an alleged corruption scheme that involved lawyers, businessmen, advisors, chiefs of staff and judges. According to the investigations, he had early access to court decisions and negotiated influence to benefit specific interests. The PF operation, called Sisamnes, seeks to deepen these investigations and widen the circle against other suspects.
In addition to preventive detention, precautionary measures were adopted, such as suspension from public office, installation of electronic monitoring and freezing of assets and values of those involved. The PF is also investigating the leaking of confidential information from police operations, which were allegedly negotiated by the group.

Operation Sisamnes refers to an episode from Persian mythology in which a judge was severely punished for accepting bribes, symbolizing the need for integrity in the judicial system. According to the Federal Police, the investigation points to crimes of organized crime, corruption, exploitation of prestige and violation of official secrecy, with the participation of figures from different levels of the Judiciary.
Gonçalves had already been the target of searches at the end of October, in an operation that investigated the Court of Justice of Mato Grosso do Sul and resulted in the removal of five judges.
Lawyer murdered
Suspicions surrounding Andreson de Oliveira Gonçalves began to emerge after the murder of lawyer Roberto Zampieri, which occurred late last year in Cuiabá. During the investigation into the crime, the Public Prosecutor's Office seized the victim's cell phone and found conversations that indicated negotiations of judicial decisions with judges from Mato Grosso. The material was sent to the CNJ and shared with the Federal Police, which deepened the investigation.
According to information published by UOL, the conversations revealed that Andreson shared advance drafts of STJ decisions and claimed to have influence over the Court's advisors. He also used to present himself in Brasília as a lawyer, although he was not registered with the OAB. Behind the scenes, his wife, Mirian Ribeiro Gonçalves, worked on cases in which he exerted influence.
