Judge Fabiano  Maia, from the 39th Civil Court of Fortaleza/CE, decided to seize R$ 16,413.04, from the sale of a horse called Jhon Jhon Príncipe, to pay off a fee debt with a law firm. The decision was made by the magistrate after unsuccessful attempts to locate other assets.

 

The records show that a passenger filed a lawsuit for moral damages against Tap -  with the author losing the case and being ordered to pay legal fees to the airline. 

 

A man who lost a lawsuit and did not pay a fee of R$16,000 to the other party's lawyer will have his debt covered by the seizure of a horse.  after unsuccessful attempts to locate other assets,  requested the seizure of a horse belonging to the plaintiff named Jhon Jhon Príncipe. 

 

When analyzing the request, the judge noted that the horse in question was pawned in another process for R$100,000 to pay debts. Considering the values ​​involved in the action and the unsuccessful attempts to find other assets, the magistrate  accepted the request to seize the animal.

 

"Knowing that the horse was valued at R$ 100 thousand; that the intended value in the aforementioned files [of the other process] is R$ 53,202.69 and that the value requested in the present files is R$ 16,413.04, I accept the request of attachment on the face of the records."

 

Therefore, the magistrate ordered the 9th Civil Court of Fortaleza/CE to proceed with the seizure of the amount resulting from the sale of the equine Jhon Jhon Príncipe.
