All Brazilians who took the first dose of the Coronavac and Oxford / AstraZeneca vaccines must attend the vaccination stations for the second application and, thus, ensure the complete effectiveness of these two immunizers.

 

Even those people who missed the deadline set on the vaccination card to boost the vaccine against Covid-19, should look for a health unit for the second dose.

 

"The recommendation of the National Immunization Program (PNI) is that they complete the scheme. So, those who delayed and were unable to go 28 days apart from Coronavac or those who were unable to go with 84 days of the AstraZeneca vaccine, should attend to complete the scheme ", emphasized the coordinator of the National Immunization Program, Francieli Fantinato.

 

To ensure that whoever took the first dose is fully immunized, the Ministry of Health, in partnership with the National Council of Health Secretaries (CONASS) and the National Council of Municipal Health Secretariats (Conasems), advises on the active search strategy by these people, so that they complete the vaccination schedule, ensuring the complete effectiveness of the immunizer.

 

 

 

ICU Covid-19

More 666 ICU beds Covid-19 were authorized, this Tuesday (20), for seven states: Alagoas, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte, Santa Catarina and São Paulo. The value of the monthly transfer will be over R $ 31.9 million, corresponding to April.

Another 526 beds of Pulmonary Ventilatory Support for exclusive care to confirmed or suspected patients of Covid-19 were authorized by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday (20). The measure reinforces the assistance in the Unified Health System (SUS) in Specialized Hospitals, Mixed Units, Small Hospitals, First Aid, Emergency Care Units, Field Hospitals and General Hospitals.

 

The authorizations, on an exceptional and temporary basis, are destined for the Federal District and the states of Bahia, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Paraná, São Paulo, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, Sergipe, Amazonas and Rio Grande do Sul. monthly transfer is over R $ 7.5 million, corresponding to April.

 

The Pulmonary Ventilatory Support beds are designed for Covid-19 patients who have not evolved to a serious condition, but who need oxygen support. Authorization occurs at the request of the states, which have the autonomy to provide and finance as many beds as necessary. Even so, due to the current scenario, the Ministry of Health provides financial resources and technical assistance to face the disease.
