The Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo (TJSP) elected this Wednesday (8/11) the composition of the Superior Council of the Judiciary for the next two years. Judge Fernando Antonio Torres Garcia was elected to the presidency of the court and judge Artur Cesar Beretta da Silveira to the vice-presidency. The General Inspector of Justice will be Judge Francisco Eduardo Loureiro.
The president elected to the court is the current inspector general of the State of São Paulo, with a mandate that ends at the end of this year. The new vice-president is the current president of the court's Private Law Section, also with a mandate that ends at the end of the year.

The composition of the council for the 2024/2015 biennium was announced after a second round of online voting. The election process was led by the president of the TJSP, judge Ricardo Mair Anafe, assisted by the dean, judge José Carlos Gonçalves Xavier de Aquino, and by the presidents of the Public and Criminal Law Sections, judges Wanderley José Federighi and Francisco José Galvão Bruno, respectively .
All 357 judges of the Court vote for management positions. For top positions, judges vote only for the section they are part of.

President: judge Fernando Antonio Torres Garcia;
Vice-president: judge Artur Cesar Beretta da Silveira;
General Inspector of Justice: judge Francisco Eduardo Loureiro;
President of the Private Law Section: judge Heraldo de Oliveira Silva;
President of the Public Law Section: judge Ricardo Cintra Torres de Carvalho;
President of the Criminal Law Section: judge Adalberto José Queiroz Telles de Camargo Aranha Filho.
The direction of the Escola Paulista da Magistratura for the next biennium was also elected: judges Gilson Delgado Miranda (director), Ricardo Cunha Chimenti (deputy director); Sérgio Seiji Shimura and Claudia Grieco Tabosa Pessoa (Private Law Section); Wanderley José Federighi and Flora Maria Nesi Tossi Silva (Public Law Section); Guilherme de Souza Nucci and Alexandre Carvalho e Silva de Almeida (Criminal Law Section); and final entrance judge Maria Rita Rebello Pinho Dias.
