Providing for actions to democratize the access of micro and small companies to innovation for the next three years, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations (MCTI) and the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae) signed an Agreement Technical Cooperation.

 

The partnership includes the development of innovation ecosystems throughout the national territory, acceleration of innovative businesses and innovation dissemination events.

 

“We need science, technology and transformation, especially at this time of health crisis. This work with Sebrae makes me very proud. It is a pleasure and an honor to be here ”, stressed the MCTI holder, Marcos Pontes. “I am very proud of the researchers and scientists who are dedicated to developing diverse necessary technologies. From now on, each of our young people will transform their lives, Brazil and the planet. ”

 

For the Special Secretary for Productivity, Employment and Competitiveness, of the Ministry of Economy, Carlos da Costa, the agreement came at a favorable moment. “We work closely with MCTI to make this happen. All of this includes interaction with the academic community, research and innovation projects, which are launched with the support of the ministry. The results have been auspicious. We are a great team that is working in unison for the market to prosper in what the population needs. ”

 

“Sebrae seeks to be the legs and arms of the Government when implementing its programs. We are available to make Brazil a better country ”, said the president of Sebrae, Carlos Melles.
