Properties seized in police operations in São Paulo and Cuiabá will be auctioned at half the appraised value

Interested in acquiring properties in São Paulo (SP) and Cuiabá (MT) have until June 23 to participate in the auctions promoted by the National Secretariat for Drug Policies and Asset Management (Senad) of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security.

 

There are commercial rooms, a high-end apartment, a plot of land and even a fish farming area, with fish ponds and complete facilities. All properties were seized from the dismantling of organized crime structures.

 

The auctions take place during the 24th National Drug Policy Week, June 20-24.

Since the beginning of 2019, when there was a redesign in the administration of Senad/MJSP, the Federal Government has raised BRL 280 million through more than 500 auctions of 11,000 movable and immovable assets. The funds obtained through the sale of these assets are destined to the public coffers for investments in modernization, training, research and evaluation projects aimed at improving the activities of public security agencies.
